Medical Transcription Program
The Medical Transcription program allows students to gain entry-level skills to begin a career in the challenging field of medical transcription. This one-year diploma curriculum is an intense study of English, grammar, word processing, medical terminology, and medical transcription.

of the following characteristics:
- Self-disciplined
- Strong interest in the medical field
- Above average knowledge of English punctuation and grammar
- Excellent hearing and acuity and listening ability
- Proficient keyboarding skills
- Advanced proofreading and editing skills
- Versatility in use of transcription equipment and computers
- High levels of concentration for extended periods of time
