Restaurant and Hospitality Management Program

The Hospitality and Restaurant Management program will be an Associate in Applied Science degree offered by Iowa Central Community College with a hands-on approach to leadership and decision making. The students will gain valuable learning experiences in the areas of restaurant and hospitality management, event planning, customer service, safety and sanitation, food service technology, purchasing and cost control, accounting, sales, marketing and beverage management. The students will also be doing an on-the-job training practicum experience giving them a well rounded education. This will allow the students the experience of operating, supervising and making decisions for a real food and beverage establishment.
