Preventative Dentistry/Nutrition

This course focuses on preventing disease and nutrition's effect on oral health throughout the life cycle. It establishes the principles of counseling and emphasizes patient education and instruction in preventive dentistry necessary to maintain optimum oral health. Prerequisites: BIO-168 Human Anatomy and Physiology I w/ lab, BIO-173 Human Anatomy and Physiology II w/ lab, BIO-186 Microbiology, CHM-110 Introduction to Chemistry and CHM-111 Introduction to Chemistry lab.
