- This schedule is mandatory for all arts and sciences courses. Instructors in other areas have the option of using this schedule.
- All instructors must administer an exam or other meaningful assessment activity which utilizes the allotted time period (1-½ hours) for a minimum of an hour for the average student.
- No final will be administered before its scheduled time; however, any student scheduled for more than two exams on a given day, or at the same time, will take the exam in the course listed last alphabetically by course prefix during the scheduled exam time. It will be up to the student and instructor in the course listed first alphabetically to arrange another exam time, if needed.
- Final exams will be held in the regular classroom in which the course is now being taught.
- Evening classes will give final exams during the last week beginning the night of Friday, May 1, 2009.
- Instructors will post their schedule for finals week at their office area and communicate their schedule verbally or in printed format to students by Friday, May 1, 2009.
- If one of the exams cannot be taken due to inclement weather, the exam will be taken at the same scheduled time on the make-up day, Friday, May 8, 2009, or at the discretion of the instructor during the final exam week.
- All distance education course (ICN, ICTN, Virtual, On-line, FlexNet and/or GSS) final exam dates and times can be found in the course syllabus.
- ALL students are required to take an exam or a meaningful assessment activity per the above procedures.
