The Paramedic program consists of five semesters.  The entire program consists of 465 hours of lecture and 150 hours of lab instruction.  Students receive 480 hours of clinical instruction and a 120 hour field internship experience.  Students will obtain ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS certification during their program.

APPROXIMATE COURSE TOTAL COST:  $10,773.00-$10,823.00

After meeting the requirements of Iowa Central for completion the student is eligible to take the National Registry practical and written examination to receive Iowa Paramedic (NREMT-P) certification under the National EMS Education Standards. The testing fees below are NOT included in the initial cost of the courses and will be paid upon successful completion of the paramedic program.
