Information Technology Expo

March 30th 11:00am-4:00pm
Iowa Central Fort Dodge Campus
Career Education Building (CEB)

What is it?
Iowa Central’s Computer Networking Technology program will be hosting a vendor and career expo on March 30th from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

The purpose?
This expo is being created to give current networking students the opportunity to see, meet, and talk to those IT professionals the students will be working with in their professional career.

Why?
Currently there is not a technology conference in the area to address the needs of our networking students.  This gives vendors, instructors, businesses and area schools the opportunity to share information with each other.  This expo will allow us to introduce new technologies, teaching concepts, professional development, and career opportunities to our students.

Who?
Current students enrolled in information technology degree options from Iowa community college institutes, their instructors, and local school district and business technology departments.

Cost?
Free to all.

Setup options?
We are inviting vendors as well as local businesses to participate in this event with a display booth for vendors and a place for businesses to talk to prospective employees (career portion).  Please contact George Lawman, 515-574-1116, or lawman@iowacentral.edu
