Position

Paramedic/EMT Adjunct Instructor (Part-Time)

About the Position

Iowa Central Community College is accepting applications from EMS or nursing professionals to teach Paramedic Education classes and possibly EMT education classes following the 2009 EMS Education Standards. A desirable candidate will have previous EMS and/or continuing education instructional experience.

Positions available at Fort Dodge center, but may include an outlying service area. Will consist of predominantly evening courses.

Requirements

Minimum of Associate’s Degree in EMS or Nursing and 6000 hours of EMS related work experience required. It is preferred that the instructor hold an Iowa EMS Instructor Endorsement. Applicant must have a current license and/or certification in nursing and/or EMS. Please include a copy of transcripts with application (official transcripts required if hired).
