Iowa Central Students Shine at SkillsUSA Comeptition

On Friday, April 27, thirty-three Iowa Central students competed in various contests at the Iowa SkillsUSA Competition in Ankeny and the Air Base south of Des Moines. First Place finishers will go on to the national competition in Kansas City June 23-27.

Academic Award Winners

In addition to the competition, competitors were recognized at Closing Ceremonies for academic excellence. Of the 33 students competing for Iowa Central, 25 received the Academic Achievement Award given to students with a 3.5 GPA or higher. Our list and line was long!
