3rd Annual Jazz Festival Results

The 3rd Annual Triton Jazz Festival was held on the Iowa Central Community College campus on January 14 & 15, 2016. 19 jazz bands from Class 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A high schools performed for a panel of judges and then participated in a separate clinical session. First, second, and third place rankings, as well as soloist awards, were as follows:

Class 1A High Schools

First Place – Newell Fonda
Second Place – South O’Brien

Class 1A Soloist awards went to:

Newell Fonda - Renee Ried, Sebastian Tovar
South O’Brien - Ben Aberson, Garrett Wagner             

Class 2A High Schools

First Place – Southeast Valley
Second Place – Okoboji
Third Place – St. Edmond

Class 2A Soloist awards went to:
