2010 Who's Who Nomination Information

Iowa Central has the opportunity to nominate up to 150 students for the 2010 Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior College Program.  Students can be nominated by faculty/staff and they are encouraged to nominate themselves by contacting a faculty member to submit a nomination form on their behalf.  Nomination forms will not be accepted from students.  By being nominated, students have the opportunity to receive scholarships as well as add something to their resume.

Students must meet the following criteria to be nominated:

  1. Minimum GPA of 3.0
  2. Completion of at least 30 college credit hours
  3. Involvement in extra-curricular and community activities for which the student does not receive payment or college credit
*Please note: students who were chosen as a finalist the previous year, may be considered again for Who’s Who if they are nominated again by faculy/staff.

If you would like to make a nomination, please return a copy of this form (one per student) to Kelli Reuter in the Student Records office by February 12th, 2010. A committee will then review the nominations and decide upon the finalists.  The finalists will be honored at the Night of Academic Excellence scheduled for April 13th in Decker Auditorium.  Please plan to attend the ceremony to support our nominees!
