Student Ambassador Program
Student Ambassador Qualifications
Ambassadors are current students selected on the basis of leadership, personality, and desire to promote Iowa Central both on and off campus. Minimum qualifications include:
- Maintain full-time student status (12 credit hours per semester)
- Maintain a minimum 2.8 Cumulative GPA
Required Expectations
- Fifteen volunteer hours completed throughout each semester

Attendance at all Triton Visit Days and Middle School Visit Days throughout the year.
Responsibilities
- Leading campus tours for prospective students and their families
- Walking current and prospective students to different departments on campus
- Participate in group visit days such as Triton Visit Days, Middle School Visit Days, and large-school group visits
- Provide assistance in the Admissions Office (if needed). Primary focus is giving tours.
- Nominations of two students for President / Vice President of the program each year
Training
Evaluation
At the end of each semester all Ambassadors are evaluated and rehired for the following semester based on their performance.
Compensation
Ambassadors receive a minimum of a $300 scholarship each semester upon completion of requirements. A maximum of $500 will be awarded for students that reach 35 tour hours on top of the required Visit Days.

The campus has a spectacular structure. ICCC has individual learning, as it is a school with a "smaller" number of students, the teachers give you more attention which helps you better understand the subject. The ARC helps students, as there is a reading and writing center inside, as well as tutors for general subjects.
