Tori has been working at Iowa Central Community College since September 2017. Since then she has worked as an Admissions Representative and Financial Aid Coordinator, and is now working in the Advising Center as an Academic Advisor. Tori works with and advises students pursuing a variety of transfer pathways as well as a few one – and two - year programs. Tori works to ensure not only that her student’s educational goals are met, but that her students look to her as a helpful resource during their time at Iowa Central. “I am grateful to have experience in different areas of the college so I can assist students in a variety of ways. My job is to be a guide to students academically, but what is most important is that our students can come to me with any questions they have and know we are always here for them.”

Tori is a graduate of Iowa Central Community College where she earned her Associate of Arts Degree. As a student she was a member of the Iowa Central Dance Team and is a proud alumni to the team today. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her niece and nephews as well as other family and friends. She is the definition of a homebody, where you can find her spending the weekend while online shopping and watching Netflix with her two dogs and cat - Sarge, Winston, and Otis. Her favorite activity is walking down the aisles of Target and Hobby Lobby with Starbucks in hand.

“Iowa Central is a Community College unlike any other. Our students are able to experience the “feel” of a four-year institution while getting the perks and benefits of a junior college. There is a plethora of educational opportunities for students whether they are seeking a higher degree after Iowa Central or plan to transition into the work force, as well as several options to get involved outside of the classroom. All staff and faculty are dedicated to their student’s needs and have the student’s success as their top priority. I have Iowa Central to thank for not only my education but my growth as an individual, and it is important to all of us that every student leaves feeling the same way. It is no question Iowa Central is the best junior college in the nation!”
