Expense Reports

As our college grows, so do our needs as we continue to serve and equip members of this region.
Our $25.5 Million Dollar bond will be spent on the following projects.

High School Career Partnerships and Training

Career Academies are a chance to partner with local high schools within our district that gives students access to better career, vocational, technical training and education that could save them thousands of dollars in future college costs and better equip them for working in our communities.

Student Success Center

In order to improve our efficiency, we want to centralize all our student services into one building. A $3 million donation from the Greehey Family Foundation alongside raised funds from the referendum will create this one-stop shop for students.

Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Medicine

The demand for skilled workers in STEMM fields is growing in Iowa and our schools need to improve in order to keep up. Renovating our science and technology buildings would give Iowa Central firm footing alongside other colleges.

Webster City and Storm Lake Center Improvements

Will provide renovated and expanded training facilities to meet the needs of business and industry in the area and provide better access for our students and business partners.

Increased Safety and Security

The safety of our students is a top priority to our college. Improving locks, providing additional security cameras, and a public safety notification system would help ensure we do our best to keep students and faculty secure.

Iowa Central Fuel Testing Lab and Research Center

The current lab has outgrown its space and has expanded much more rapidly then expected. By relocating to the Ag Industrial Park west of Fort Dodge we will be able to co-locate with current and future biotechnology and bioproducts manufacturers and expose students to the opportunities in the agriculture and biosector industries.

Physical Infrastructure Improvements

We celebrated our 50th anniversary last year, and so did many of our buildings. In order to keep up with the educational demands and to maintain structural integrity, many of our facilities need updating. The referendum will help make our buildings better for your students.
