Health and Beauty Management Program
The Health and Beauty Management program will provide students with a comprehensive program to prepare them for professions in the health and beauty fields. By incorporating college level business courses along with the courses required to prepare students to pass the state board exams, this degree will give the students opportunities to progress further within their field and give them the essential skills that will help them be successful as self employed cosmetologists. Iowa Central Community College and La James International Colleges have formed a partnership for the delivery of this program that combines licensure with an associate in applied science degree component.

Diversity is important to me. For people to learn and grow, there must be diversity in the workplace, schools, and sports. That is another reason I wanted to go to Iowa Central; there are so many people here from across the world, all with different backgrounds and life experiences. I saw Iowa Central as an opportunity not only to grow in both academics and in athletics, but also to become a stronger person.
