About the Position
To teach face-to-face American Sign Language course(s) at Fort Dodge. Most classes are during the day, but evening or Saturday sections may be available.
Master’s Degree in American Sign Language, deaf studies, or a closely related field; or Master’s degree plus 18 additional graduate hours in area of instruction as established in the Iowa Department of Education’s Iowa Community Colleges Guidelines for Faculty Qualifications. Bachelor’s degree with additional certification may be considered. Please include a copy of transcripts with application (official transcripts required if hired). Teaching experience preferred.
