About the Position
The Academic Advisor will be responsible, under indirect supervision, for retaining and enrolling prospective, former, and current students. This individual will be responsible for advising students in the development of educational, career, and transfer plans; assisting with registering students each term; reviewing degree audits and graduation plans; participating in high school group visits and visit days; and assisting with implementing retention strategies.
Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous work experience related to the job responsibilities highly recommended. Must possess good communication and organizational skills. Must be detail oriented and work as a team member.
