Adult Education Career Navigator (Storm Lake)

About the Position


Responsible for supporting individuals in non-credit training courses and Adult Education programs.  Duties will include co-teaching integrated technical education courses, facilitate workshops, develop marketing strategies for Career Navigator and Adult Education programs in the Storm Lake region following student intake procedures per grant requirements, testing and tracking of student information in the TOPSpro/Enterprise (TE) online system, developing curriculum, promoting and recruiting for all programs in the community.  Primary location is Storm Lake but will require some travel.  Will require varying day and evening work schedules.  This position is contingent on grant funding.

Requirements


A Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field is required. Teaching experience preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) speaking is required. Knowledge of case management, counseling, or advising techniques preferred.  Computer proficiency, excellent organization skills, experience working in a team environment, good communication skills, and exceptional customer service skills required. Demonstrated experience working with a diverse population required. Must be able to be self-directed and work independently.

Salary


$37,711-38,454.
