Financial Aid Coordinator
About the Position
The Financial Aid Coordinator will evaluate and verify financial aid applications in accordance with Federal regulations, conduct student needs analysis to determine financial eligibility, certify federal loan eligibility, provide financial aid counseling, make professional assessments regarding student aid eligibility, and facilitate problem solving with students and parents.
Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidate must possess excellent human relations skills, written and verbal communication, and be extremely organized. Computer skills are essential. Preference will be given to those who have had prior experience in financial aid, especially with regard to the college or university setting.
