Part-Time Academic Assistant (Fort Dodge)
About the Position
Academic Assistants (1) provide individual or small group assistance to students in a variety of subject areas by using a range of content-specific and general learning strategies and (2) administer exams following testing procedures and security guidelines required by the Iowa Central Testing Center and other professional testing organizations up to 25 hours per week @ $14.50/hour (for applicants with an Associate’s degree or higher) and $10.30/hour (for applicants without an Associate’s degree and an Iowa Central student, must obtain and include with application letters of recommendation from instructors).
Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. See description above for more information.

I chose Iowa Central because both of my parents came here and absolutely loved the environment. I was able to be a part of so many programs at once which isn't offered at other colleges. I knew right away after visiting that it would be a great school where I could better myself as a student and as an athlete.
