Part-Time Work-Based Learning Assistant
About the Position
This individual will help coordinate work-based learning experiences that include internships, job shadows, work experiences, trainings, tours, speakers, externships, career fairs, and career discovery days. Plan summer camps and other work-based learning opportunities for high school students with disabilities. Market different career opportunities and post events/activities on social media. Document work results and report to IVRS as well as student progress notes similar to a case manager. Maintain collaborations with local businesses to create employment opportunities for eligible students with disabilities. Help coordinate opportunities for students to transition in the workforce. Up to 25 hours per week @ $10.65/hour.
A combination of high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma and work experience in a related field required. Computer proficiency, excellent organization skills, experience working in a team environment, good communication skills, and exceptional customer service skills required. Must be able to work independently. Must have valid drivers license.
