Simulation Center Support Technician

About the Position


Under limited direction, the technician is responsible for the overall usage, maintenance, and upkeep of the medical simulation and audio-visual equipment for the center.  Individual will work with the coordinator in providing technical support for the simulation activities, classes, and exercises; assist with simulation and use of simulators by programming and running simulation for Iowa Central Community College programs and external clients; and work a flexible schedule to provide support to all simulation activities, faculty, and staff and will include tours, evenings, and Saturday sessions.

Requirements


High School Diploma or equivalent with one year of related work experience required.  Ability to understand operating instructions.  Ability to take directions from multiple people, be organized, and multi-task.  Ability to interact effectively, courteously, and impartially with diverse populations.  Ability to operate windows-based computer programs and utilize Microsoft Office programs.

Salary Range


$31,245-31,860.
