About the Position
To perform general secretarial responsibilities such as answer the telephone, pre-register students, enter students into the computer registration system, generate letters, prepare mailings, work with program coordinators, and maintain student/DOT files.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and the ability to type 50 net wpm accurately required. Must be extremely organized, have very good communication skills, and enjoy working with the public in a professional office environment.
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday.
Rate of Pay
$12.15-12.65 per hour or transferee’s current salary, if currently an Iowa Central secretary.
