Performing Arts to host recital at Friendship Haven

FORT DODGE - The students in the Iowa Central Applied Studio classes will be hosting a recital for the residents of Friendship Haven on Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Celebration Center in Friendship Haven at 1:00 p.m.

The recital will feature 16 Applied Studio students. Thirteen of the students will be from the Vocal Studio under the instruction of Sharon Morrical. Students performing vocal selections will include Logun Buckley, Kirby Ommen, Michael Richardson, Nick Wood, Courtney Skeens, Jacie Simon, Anna Wulfekuhler, Jade Green, Emily Laughlin, Emily Garst, Chris Pilling and Trevor Erdman. Ben McCartney will perform on trumpet from his Brass Studio instructed by Paul Bloomquist. In addition, two Piano Studio students will perform.

The recital is a showcase for the students who have excelled during the fall semester’s Applied Studio classes.
