10:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Iowa Core Universal Constructs – Leon Kuehner/Rosanne Malek – BHS Aud.

1:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.     Experiencediscipline specific explanations, examples, sample lessons, and assessments in fine arts skills/concepts by members of the:

Drama/Theatre Writing Team – BHS 111 (Conference Room)

General Music Writing Team - BHS Auditorium (or tall tables)

Instrumental Writing Team - BHS 202

Visual Art Writing Team – BHS 203

Vocal Music Writing Team - BHS 207

Built-in break as needed per individual discipline.


3:15 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.     School District Collegial Time – BHS Auditorium

Meeting time for arts educators in attendance to share their observations and activities of the day.  Time provided to begin ideas for integration among arts faculty and other content areas.


3:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.     Closing Remarks – BHS Auditorium

Summary of what was observed and share the implications of Fine Arts and Iowa Core at the district, AEA, and state levels .
