Dental Hygiene Graduates Honored at Pinning Ceremony

Iowa Central Community College held its pinning ceremony for Dental Hygiene Program graduates on Wednesday evening, May 3 at River Valley Orchard and Winery in Humboldt.

Class President Shelby Cummins and Valedictorian Kelly Boleyn were student speakers.

Dental Hygiene instructors Renee Piper, Jodi Major, Amber Elbert and Arianna Broderick presented awards to graduates.

Award recipients included Kelly Boleyn, Outstanding Student for Iowa Award, Future Healthcare Hygienist Award, Infection Control Coordinator Recognition; Madison Struck, Lavender Ribbon Award; Eulalia Pablo Sebastian, Hu Friedy Golden Scaler Award; Elizabeth Andresen, Colgate S.T.A.R. Award; Kaden Pederson and Haley Manfull, Student’s Choice Award.

Instructors presented each graduate with their Dental Hygiene pin and the graduates recited the Dental Hygiene Oath at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Dental Hygiene graduates were Elizabeth Andresen, Madison, SD; Kelly Boleyn, Humboldt; Carlyee Clark, Yetter; Shelby Cummins, Stratford; Hannah Hansen, Sac City; Megan Huss, Spencer; Haley Manfull, Slater; Shellee Martinez, Fenton; Kaighcy Origer, West Bend; Eulalia Pablo Sebastian, Sioux City; Kaden Pederson, Fort Dodge; Jocelyn Perez, Osceola; Abby Ryan, Marshalltown and Madison Struck, Ames.
