Associate Degree Nursing Graduates Honored at June 15 Pinning

Iowa Central Community College honored its associate degree nursing students with a pinning ceremony on Thursday afternoon, June 15, at the Fort Dodge Middle School Auditorium.

Sydney Carlson, representing the Fort Dodge Campus; Kelsey Martens, representing Storm Lake Campus; and Jenna Geopfert, representing the Webster City Campus, presented the student address.

Nursing instructors Christel Becker, Sara Carlson, Heidi Clark, Betty Daniel, Abbey Devers, Christina Foth, Amanda Johnson, Carrie Kephart, Jennifer Leffler and Stacey Poldervaart conducted the conferring of pins to the graduates.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the 94 graduates recited the Nightingale Pledge, led by Carlson, Martens and Geopfert.

During the ceremony, graduates earning a 3.25 or higher grade point average were recognized with nursing academic honors.
