Save the Date for the 2024 Triton Hall of Fame

Iowa Central faculty and staff, alumni and supporters are invited to save the date for the annual Triton Hall of Fame celebration and induction ceremony.

The Triton Hall of Fame honors distinguished alumni, distinguished faculty and staff, Triton humanitarians, Triton athletes, and Triton athletic teams who have made a significant impact on the Iowa Central community. This year’s ceremony and banquet is set for Saturday November 9 at 4:00 p.m. in the Triton Café on the Iowa Central campus. Inductees will also be introduced at the Iowa Central vs. Garden City football game Saturday afternoon at Dodger Stadium.

The evening features a social hour, meal and silent auction along with the honoring of the newest class of hall of famers.

The Hall of Fame Committee welcomes contributions to the silent auction. All proceeds from the auction benefit underfunded areas at Iowa Central. Past silent auction items have included a large variety of themed baskets, tickets to sporting events, weekend getaway packages, hunting trips, gift cards and meals. Auction items will be accepted through November 4. If you would like to donate a silent auction item, contact the Iowa Central Foundation office at 515-574-1137.

The Triton Hall of Fame was established in 2010 to recognize faculty, staff, alumni, athletes, teams and benefactors for their contributions to Iowa Central’s longstanding reputation of being a catalyst for thousands of students who go on to achieve great things. More than 100 notable teams and individuals have been inducted into the Triton Hall of Fame since its inception.

Several nominations have been received for the 2024 class and will be accepted until Friday June 21. Nomination forms and descriptions/qualifications for each award can be found on the Iowa Central website at https://www.iowacentral.edu/foundation/hof.asp   

Tickets for the 2024 Hall of Fame event will go on sale in September and will be available at the Iowa Central Bookstore or by contacting the Iowa Central Foundation Office directly.
