Iowa Central offers the "Fall Play and Feast" Event

Fort Dodge, IA - Iowa Central Community College is excited to announce a new event that combines a lunch and learn event with the annual fall play. A limited number of tickets will be sold for the special event which is set for Wednesday, October 16th. The day will begin at 9:30 am in the new Decker Auditorium with the Iowa Central Fall Play “Community Garden”. Following the play, there will be a soup, sandwich, and salad luncheon at approximately 11:30 am. Iowa Central President, Dr. Jesee Ulrich is the featured speaker for the luncheon.
The fall play, "Community Garden", promises to be a captivating and thought-provoking experience for all attendees. It is a newly released comedy show that is well-written and takes audience members on a worthwhile, engaging journey. The scene is set in uptown Chicago where Ralph is a volunteer for Uptown City Gardens, and he learns lessons far beyond the caretaking of the plants. Teresa Jackson, Director of Theatre at Iowa Central describes the play as inspirational and hopeful.
The event is open to the public, and tickets for the play and lunch are available for $15 per person. Due to limited seating, interested individuals are encouraged to secure their tickets early. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Iowa Central Foundation Office at 515-574-1137 or by emailing Mary Ludwig at ludwig@iowacentral.edu. Tickets are on sale now through October 11th.
