Iowa Central Launches Center for Performing Arts Series

Iowa Central Community College is proud to announce the launch of the Iowa Central Center for Performing Arts Series, an exciting new initiative that marks a bold chapter in cultural and artistic engagement for the region. Hosted in the newly renovated and expanded Center for Performing Arts at Decker Auditorium, this series brings a full season of premier entertainment to the heart of our community.

For the first time in college history, Iowa Central will present a season of ten performances featuring nationally touring artists, Broadway-caliber productions, and celebrated comedians, right here in Fort Dodge. This initiative reflects the college’s commitment to expanding access to high-quality performing arts experiences without the need for travel or overnight stays.

The public is invited to attend the official Season Announcement Party on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Decker Auditorium. The evening will include remarks from Iowa Central President Dr. Jesse Ulrich and guest presenters Sam Reeves-Grady and Brady O’Brien. Attendees will also enjoy performances by Iowa Central alumni Alyssa Allbee, Mason O’Brien, and Reese Pederson, as well as staff performers Jarred Benson, Brady O’Brien, and Jake Rossow. In addition to entertainment, guests will receive exclusive previews of the 2025–2026 season lineup.

Admission to the Season Announcement Party is free and open to the public. Attendees will have early access to discounted season ticket packages, with general public ticket sales opening on Monday, June 10, at 10:00 a.m. Group tickets will also be available for families and friends looking to attend a show together.

The Iowa Central Center for Performing Arts Series is designed to be more than a lineup of outstanding performances—it represents a commitment to creating an exceptional audience experience.
