FORT DODGE - Seventeen Iowa Central Community College students are using their summers to complete their field placement course. The students will complete 150 hours of work in a human services setting during the 15-week summer term. The students have chosen a setting that matches their interest as a future career path.  The summer interns will observe as well as directly participate in numerous client activities. Classroom work will be connected with site experiences to expand their human service skills and knowledge.

“Fifteen community agencies have partnered with us for the student field placements,” said Larry McLuckie, Iowa Central’s Human Services Program Director. “We greatly appreciate the community involvement and support for the program. Their involvement will be invaluable to these students.”
