Iowa Central BPA has strong showing at nationals

FORT DODGE - The Iowa Central chapter of the Business Professionals of America had another strong showing at the BPA National Competition. Five students competed in the week-long competition that was held in Chicago on April 25-29.

Brittany Fiala, a sophomore from Moorland, had the highest finish for Iowa Central as she placed fifth in Payroll Accounting. Fiala also placed eighth in Federal Income Tax Accounting.

Devin Mabra, a sophomore from Spirit Lake, and Christine Adams, a freshman from Humboldt, worked together to finish sixth in Small Business Management Team. Roger Helms, a Fort Dodge native, finished seventh in Business Meeting Management.
