Share What You Wear donations being accepted

FORT DODGE - Iowa Central Community College has begun accepting donations for its annual clothing drive “Share What You Wear” which will be held on Saturday, December 3, at the Career Education Building.

Items can be dropped off at a number of locations on campus. The large, brown cardboard boxes are located in several buildings on campus just inside the doors. The boxes will be emptied by Student Senate members on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the month of November. Items can also be brought to the donation center behind the Career Education Building on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4-6:00 p.m. in November. 

Items that are needed for donation are clothing, bedding, toys, electronics, and house wear. Also, if you would like to make a monetary donation or volunteer to work the event on Dec. 3 or help set up on Dec. 2, please contact Lacee Silvey at 515-574-1366.

Drop-off locations:

  • Science Building - South End of the 1st floor, next to the bathrooms
  • Liberal Arts Building – 1st floor, next to pop machine
  • Admissions/Administration (2) – Behind front desk in Admissions, back by Help Desk
  • AST building (2)– first floor be dental hygiene, 2nd floor outside health science office
  • BHS building – (front office area)
  • Student Resource Center
