
Accelerated Courses
6-Week Accelerate ELDT Course
- 195 hours of student training (approximately 6 weeks)
- Meets the FMCSA ELDT Theory and BTW standards and requirements.
- The course consists of classroom work, range, public road driving and testing.
- We are an authorized 3rd party testing center and testing is done on-site with our certified DOT tester.
- Training is done in automatic and manual trucks.
- This is a certificate course.
- Classes are held at the same time with the same start dates as the Full Course.
- Monday through Thursday 7am-3:30pm and Friday 7am-2:30pm.
- Students learn the concepts of operating a tractor and trailer with hands-on operation that applies the learned knowledge into practical application.
- This course is recommended for someone that has previous experience and/or quick learners.
- This course is NOT recommended for someone that has learning or language barriers.

The 6-week class is more fast-paced than the 11, but will be spent covering the same items:
- Inspections (all types)
- Basic control
- Serpentine driving (control of trailer)
- Backing (all types)
- Proper set ups
- Turns
- Shifting
- Coupling and uncoupling
- Driving in rural, city and interstate conditions.
- Teaching a student to operate an 80,000-pound truck safely will also include: map reading, trip planning, logging, load securement, and proper weight distribution.
Tuition is $5,500 plus. On-site, furnished housing is available for $600.
4-Week AUTOMATIC ONLY Course
- 160 hours of student training (approximately 4 weeks)
- Meets the FMCSA ELDT Theory and BTW standards and requirements.
- The course consists of classroom work, range, public road driving and testing. Students will need to show proficiency in all areas of the ELDT in order to graduate.
- We are an authorized 3rd party testing center and testing is done on-site with our certified DOT tester.
- Training is done in AUTOMATIC trucks ONLY.
- This is a certificate course.
- Classes are scheduled when we have 2 or more students enrolled: Monday through Thursday 7am-3:30pm and Friday 7am-2:30pm.
- Class size is limited to 9 students at a time.
- Students learn the concepts of operating a tractor and trailer with hands-on operation that applies the learned knowledge into practical application.
- This course is fast paced and intended for students who have advanced skills/ previous experience and are quick learners.
- This course is NOT recommended for someone that has learning or language barriers.

The 4-week class is very fast-paced and will cover:
- Inspections (all types)
- Basic control
- Serpentine driving (control of trailer)
- Backing (all types)
- Proper set ups
- Turns
- Shifting
- Coupling and uncoupling
- Driving in rural, city and interstate conditions.
- Teaching a student to operate an 80,000-pound truck safely will also include: map reading, trip planning, logging, load securement, and proper weight distribution.

Proficiency-Based, Train & Test Course
- Spend a day training and being evaluated by one of our instructors to determine the length of the course.
- Must have extensive experience: good for those who have had a CDL in the past, drove on the farm or with a permit and did not get their full license before it expired, etc.
- Students must show proficiency in all areas, including shifting, backing and coupling and uncoupling or will be recommended for additional training.
- We are an authorized 3rd party testing center and testing is done on-site with our certified DOT tester on a separate day from training with an instructor.
- This is NOT a certificate course.

Tuition starts at $900 for this course. If additional training time is needed, the cost increases.
